VERZAND is a 360-degree performance. A spectacular performance amidst a large circle of sand. Sitting on camping stools, history unfolds around the spectator. Shaped with grand images and beautiful musical compositions.
A summer evening performance about the success and downfall of the first king of the Netherlands, Louis Napoleon. A forgotten and silenced king. An occupier who fell in love with the Netherlands but was deposed by his own brother Napoleon and quietly left the country.
