Alice is a girl who has never dreamed. One night she is tossing and turning in bed, when she is suddenly awakened by her favorite rabbit. She awakens to an unfamiliar world, lovely and disturbing at the same time. Wondrous characters seem to know her well; worse, they all want something from her.
A ruthless white queen wants her as a bride for her primal son, two identical males want to stuff her with cakes, and a mysterious cat gives her clues that can be both useful and dangerous.
She tries to escape; down the drain, through a mirror but each time she finds herself in unfamiliar places.
Then she meets an ancient man surrounded by bats. Is he the one Alice dreams of? And if he dies, will she go out like a candle? If Alice does not want to get lost in this story, she must search for who she really is.
