Agora Phobia, an outdoor theatre performance about a majestic construction project, is spectacular, musical and gets everyone moving. In this grand square spectacle, Theatre Gajes leads the audience straight into a construction pit with optical tricks. With the help of strange machines, physically strong actors and live music, not only a futuristic structure emerges, but also a turbulent adventure. Overwhelming from the first to the last minute.
In Agora Phobia, spectators are invited onto the playing surface and set in motion by actors on stilts and large moving objects. The main protagonist is the square in need of a major overhaul. Everyone involved is looking forward to this extensive job. The first pile goes into the ground. The mayor beams, the architect is a hero, the contractor is lucky to get this job. 3,000 onlookers, as residents, can be proud of their city and its administrators. Then, in a highly entertaining nightmare, they witness the emergence of the first cracks to the collapse of these ingenious building plans. With this grand square production, a story unfolds not only to behold, but above all to experience!
